Fannon Petroleum was started in 1961 as a sister company to TJ Fannon & Sons, which has been in business since 1868 and concentrated in the residential business. Fannon Petroleum’s intent was to jump into the commercial business that T.J. Fannon did not cover.
Covering Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, Fannon Petroleum has grown to sales over 50 million gallons and over 25 employees.
